These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Matchora mobile application and the website at matchora.games (together, the "Service"), operated by Matchora ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Matchora helps you organize padel tournaments. You can create tournaments, invite players, generate pairings, record scores, and follow live standings. The Service is currently provided free of charge.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We don't guarantee that any feature stays available.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're under the age of legal majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
If you create a tournament, you're its organizer. As an organizer, you're responsible for:
Matchora is a scheduling and scoring tool. We don't organize, host, or supervise any tournament or match, and we aren't a party to any arrangement between organizers and players.
You keep ownership of the content you add to the Service, such as tournament names, player names, and scores ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and improve the Service. For example, we show your name and scores to other participants in the same tournament.
You confirm that you have the right to add Your Content, and that it doesn't violate these Terms or anyone else's rights.
When you use the Service, you agree not to:
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, use our contact form. We handle deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we need to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first. We may also discontinue the Service; if we do, we'll try to give you reasonable notice.
The Service, including its software, design, logo, and the Matchora name, belongs to us and is protected by law. These Terms don't give you any right to use our name or logo. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.
We provide the Service "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service is uninterrupted or error-free, or that pairings, scores, schedules, and standings are always accurate. Check anything that matters, such as prize allocations, before you rely on it.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Padel is a physical sport. You take part in any tournament at your own risk, and we aren't responsible for injuries, damage, or disputes that arise at any event.
To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties that arise from Your Content, your tournaments, or your breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll give you reasonable notice, for example in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Matchora is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in the courts there.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right, we don't waive it. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganization or sale. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
